Today, we are looking for an experienced professional in the billing, finance, consulting, and investments space to join our team as a Payments Team Lead who will take ownership of our payments function development. In this role, you’ll report directly to the CEO and will work directly with C-level/Head managers to execute our projects’ strategies. This position brings unique opportunities to contribute to growing different projects in diverse verticals and business models (transactional/subscription, B2C/B2B). We are looking for leaders who can bring our payment function to the next level and are always ready to take on new challenges.

You will:

  • Build a top-notch billing team that will cover all existing needs of our projects and enable growth of revenue and margins of these projects.
  • Develop an in-house PCI DSS-certified payment gateway to ensure it fits the needs of our projects and is up-to-date with recent developments in the payment's ecosystem.
  • Work closely with C-level executives on the development and execution of the company’s long-term strategy and OKRs.
  • Ensure stable or growing payment metrics, including checkout page conversion rates, approval rates, LTV, and churn.
  • Develop relationships with existing and new partners (PSPs, acquiring banks, 3rd party solutions providers) for quality development of our billing infrastructure.
  • Ensure our billing infrastructure is cost-effective and operates at market-level margins.
  • Research and integrate new payment methods, including card and non-card solutions (PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, local APMs, crypto, etc.).
  • Develop existing in-house anti-fraud mechanics and logic to improve the risk metrics of our products and ensure compliance with payment systems’ requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our in-house billing analytics infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance of our products, billing infrastructure, mechanics, and metrics with relevant legislation, regulation, and payment systems requirements.

From you:

  • 3+ years of experience in product and payment-related roles.
  • Proven leadership skills, ability to hire and develop top-performing teams.
  • Experienced in payment systems, card payment processing, alternative methods, anti-fraud solutions.
  • Understanding of recent trends and developments in the payments' ecosystem, familiarity with Visa/MC regulations.
  • Perfect understanding of the billing process, both technical and product components. General knowledge of the financial and legal aspects of billing.
  • Solid organizational, time management, and advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, proven data-driven approach to task execution.
  • Adaptability and readiness to perform in an always-changing environment.
  • Upper-intermediate+ English proficiency.

Will be a plus:

  • Previous background in finance, consulting (Big3/Big4), and investment banks.
  • Product or payment-related experience in highly competitive markets (dating, gambling, subscription services).
  • Experience in building in-house payment solutions, completing PCI DSS audits.
